When diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis by Dr Jones in my mid-thirties, he was open to me investigating alternative methods to resolve this diagnosis. Although the specialist, Dr Jones sees my treatment as a joint effort and was therefore happy for me to try an alternative medication, which has resulted in my arthritis being in remission. Dr Jones fully understands the impact this diagnosis can have on some-one young which is why his open approach is so greatly appreciated.

Dr Hugh Jones makes you feel very comfortable and is through in his explanation of every thing going on. Hugh Listens to what you say and does not rush you out the door. I am very impressed and very happy with being his patient.

I suffer from intermittent back and leg pain. Dr Jones was recommended by a friend. he has always helped me when I'm in trouble. He makes me feel at ease, explains the problem and discusses treatment options. He helps with his wonderful sense of humour.

I have been under Dr. Jones care for the past two years. I have found him to be a first rate human being never mind Doctor - he shows genuine interest in the subject matter and always suggests solutions. He always appears to be in total control and have time for me.

I have been a patient of Dr Jones for the last 14 years , normally seeing him at his clinic at Queen Mary's Hospital Roehampton. Usually this is for routine appointments, but occasionally I have needed to see him urgently . Dr Jone was the first medic to take my condition seriously. He spent a great deal of time and trouble on the initial diagnosis , and then took the longer term time it needed to help me get my day to day management regime right - for me as an individual , listening to me as an individual in the context of my work and hobbies , all of which, unfortunately, put pressure on my medical condition. I have always felt that Dr Jones and I have worked together as a team in respect of my care and the preventative management and ,as a result, we have done so most constructively and successfully . And that, I think , is key - it's very much "us" as opposed to "him" and "me".
